Hello again class! this time I'd like you to think on justice, particularly, on the death penalty or capital punishment.
I think an image is worth a thousand words, so... let's look at some pictures
I saw these devices in the "Museo de la Tortura" in Santillana del Mar. I was really impressed with the methods the Inquisition used to kill the offenders. You can take a look at some other pics in Google images, they are very shocking.
However, inquisitors were not the only ones to kill people declared guilty; you may have heard about the USA controversy on death penalty, but did you know if it isn't legal in all the states, or that it has been abolished in some others? did you know the method used to execute prisoners change from state to state? Well, you should investigate, get information and real facts about the subject before posting your opinion on this blog.

Isa Pérez think that is very difficult live life in prision, if we can kill the killers, we will be killers.

we think that capital punishment is legal in USA but it isn't abolished yet.However, in other countries is ilegal.

Hi! I'm Jose Manuel...In my personal opinion, the death penalty is very very good because the guilty should pay his crime witch the death if he kill someone...muhaha

ReplyDeleteWe think that capital punishment is good for the people, because, for example a terrorist that kill more people, sentence to 100 years in prison, but with the conditional freedoom, the terrorist will be able to go out to of prison in 20 years for example, and with the capital punishment the terrorist dies and he won't do hurt other people. But on the other hand the capital punishment is bad, because it can kill a innocent people.

We think that the death penalty is very good because the criminal must be executed as a punishment for an offense. We believe that they won`t do it again.

ReplyDeleteTalking about the death penalty, I think it is very difficult to decide if it is correct or not. People who have killed another person should have a very hard punishment, but in my opinion perhaps the capital punishment is really hard. Another opition coud be the life imprisonment.
